Protect What You Can't Get Back.

Eye and hearing protection are two of the easiest pieces of safety equipment to skip — and two of the hardest injuries to undo once the damage is done. A single unprotected shot can cause permanent hearing loss; a single piece of ejected brass or fragment can cause permanent eye damage. Both are entirely preventable with the right gear.

Why Eye & Hearing Protection Matters

Hearing: A single gunshot can exceed 140 decibels — well above the threshold at which permanent hearing damage can occur instantly, not just after repeated exposure. Unlike most injuries, noise-induced hearing loss doesn't heal, and it's cumulative — every unprotected shot adds to the damage, whether you notice it immediately or not.

Eyes: Ejected brass, case fragments, unburned powder, and — in a worst case — a ricochet or fragment from a malfunction can all reach the eyes in an instant. For military, law-enforcement and tactical personnel, the threat extends well beyond the firing line: dust, debris, vegetation, shattered glass and airborne fragments can all compromise vision during movement or operations. Proper eye protection isn't about looking the part; it's about protecting one of your most critical assets and preventing a split-second incident from becoming a permanent injury.
