Thirty Years of Seeing Beyond the Visible.

Pulsar's history goes back to 1991, when a group of friends in Lithuania began assembling their first observation devices by hand. That company grew into Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, and the Pulsar name — trademarked in 2009 — is now the world's leading brand of thermal and night vision imaging devices for civilian use. Noctis Africa carries the Pulsar range across thermal monoculars, night vision devices, and riflescopes.

Built From Real Innovation, Not Just Marketing

Pulsar's devices are designed, manufactured, and assembled in Europe. By 2005, the company was already producing 70% of the world's Gen 1 night vision devices, and its Digisight riflescope — launched in 2009 — was the first digital night vision riflescope on the market, introducing features like one-shot zero and an in-view menu system that are now standard across the industry.

Pulsar continues to launch new products every year, and its devices are trusted by hunters, security professionals, and search and rescue teams across more than 70 countries. Many current Pulsar devices connect to Stream Vision 2, a free companion app that gives you remote control of the device, wireless firmware updates, and direct transfer of photo and video recordings to your phone.

A Device for Every Role

Whether you need a compact thermal monocular for scanning and detection, a night vision device for close-range clarity, or a riflescope built for serious hunting or professional use, the Pulsar range is built around real functional differences between models — not just different price points on the same core device. Each product page lists the exact detection range, resolution, refresh rate, and battery life, so you can match a device to how you'll actually use it rather than buying on spec-sheet numbers alone.
