Product Overview
The NS-D3A Level IIIA soft-armour insert is designed to fit compatible drop-down utility pouches and danglers, extending flexible ballistic coverage to the lower abdomen and groin. It provides protection against common handgun-calibre threats and fragmentation while maintaining the flexibility required for comfort and freedom of movement.
Designed as supplementary protection, the insert complements your primary body-armour system by covering vulnerable areas below the plate carrier that would otherwise remain exposed.
Constructed from multiple layers of woven aramid fibre, the panel's fibres catch and deform a projectile on impact, spreading its energy across a wider area. Aramid soft armour is a proven, flexible choice with decades of operational use — offering strong multi-hit capability, good fragmentation performance and excellent heat resistance, at a more cost-effective price point than premium UHMWPE alternatives.
