Product Overview
The QD Spectre is a high-performance flow-through suppressor made in South Africa for semi-automatic and fully-automatic firearms, designed for law-enforcement users and responsible civilians. Its flow-through design redirects gas forward and is built to prevent blowback and over-pressurisation without compromising sound reduction. Special Air says this gives a smoother, more comfortable shooting experience, even without an adjustable gas block.
The baffle geometry is based on Special Air's Ghost suppressor, and Special Air says it slows carbon fouling compared with competing brands. The Spectre is designed to deliver sound, flash and blowback performance similar to the Ghost in a lighter package, so you can move faster and engage targets quickly. The Spectre 4 is the compact length: 158mm long, 45mm in diameter and 450g.
The QD Spectre fits multiple calibres and rifle platforms with no barrel length restrictions. It includes a true QD muzzle brake and is precision-machined to fit the standard thread patterns on SLRs. It is built from 17-4PH stainless steel in a tubeless design and finished in C-Series Cerakote. Special Air states the price includes the muzzle brake and the accessories required for installation.
