Easy on, easy off, and built to fit seamlessly onto your rifle, the Micro6X delivers an incredibly compact 6× optical system that takes your red dot considerably further than a standard 3× magnifier.
The Micro6X features three mount heights to best fit your setup, and an adjustable flip mount that allows for left- or right-handed use. The camlock system engages or disengages with direct pressure, allowing you to raise and lower the magnifier quickly and easily during use.
It's recommended for use with the Vortex AMG UH-1 and Strikefire II. Compatibility with other red-dot sights depends on mounting height, rail space and sight geometry. It is not intended for use with Vortex Spitfire prism scopes.

3× vs. 6×: A 3× magnifier is the more versatile everyday choice — enough extra reach for mid-range engagement without narrowing your field of view too much, and light enough to leave mounted permanently. The Micro6X's 6× gives genuinely extended reach for engaging targets further out, but doubling the magnification also narrows the field of view and makes fast target acquisition at close range noticeably harder — better suited to situations where reach matters more than speed.
VMX-3T vs. Micro3X (both 3×): The two 3× options aren't simply the same magnifier at different prices. The VMX-3T uses a push-button flip mount and has the shortest eye relief in the range (56mm/2.2in), at a significantly lower price. The Micro3X uses a quick-release cam-lock mount (faster to flip, no button to press) and has the longest eye relief of any Vortex magnifier (67mm/2.64in) — a real comfort advantage for extended use — at a higher price point.
Compatibility & Use
The Micro6X is a magnifier accessory, not a standalone sight — it has no reticle of its own and is designed to sit behind an existing red dot or holographic sight, magnifying that sight's dot or reticle by 6×.
It's recommended for use with the Vortex AMG UH-1 and Strikefire II; compatibility with other red-dot sights depends on mounting height, rail space and sight geometry. It is not intended for use with Vortex Spitfire prism scopes, since those already carry fixed magnification and an etched reticle of their own.
