The Precision Diving Board Mount is a convenient top-ring mounting system, not a scope-to-rifle mount — it's designed to sit on top of a Precision Matched Ring or Precision Extended Cantilever Mount that's already installed on your rifle, giving you a genuine forward-position rail for a second device.

Vortex's own product information confirms this diving board mount provides the perfect mounting height and positioning for the Impact® 4000 Rail-Mounted Ballistic Laser Rangefinder, red dots, and other Picatinny-mounted accessories — a genuine option for adding a backup red dot, micro dot, or emergency battle sight (EBS) above your primary riflescope, without needing to remove or disturb your main optic's zero.

Machined from certified USA 7075-T6 billet aluminium, held to an extremely tight 0.0005in tolerance and anodized with Type III hardcoat, this is genuine Precision-tier construction. Note: not compatible with the Precision Quick-Release Cantilever Mount — use with the standard Precision Extended Cantilever Mount or Precision Matched Rings instead.
