Product Overview

Vortex Optics starts with certified USA 7075-T6 billet aluminium and holds it to an extremely tight tolerance of 0.0005in using a precision CNC mill. Precision Matched Rings are kept in pairs throughout the entire manufacturing process — ensuring true concentricity between both rings in the set, not just consistency from one set to another.

Each pair is serialized, vibratory tumbled, hand bead-blasted, and finished with a Type III hard-coat anodized coating. Robust Grade 8 fasteners hold the set together, with torque specifications built into the design for confident, correct installation. This is Vortex's flagship ring tier — genuinely suited to competitive and long-range shooters who need their scope to hold zero through hard use and transport, particularly on bolt-action precision rifles.
