The Venom® 5-25x56 FFP delivers great glass quality, workhorse function, and impressive low- to high-end magnification for rapid transitions between close- to long-range targets. A large 56mm objective genuinely improves light transmission for demanding long-range and low-light conditions.
Both the elevation and windage turrets use a Locking/Zero Stop design — a genuine step up from capped-windage designs elsewhere in this range, giving real confidence that neither adjustment moves accidentally in the field or during transport.
Solid single-piece 34mm aircraft-aluminium tube construction provides water, fog, and shockproof protection, while XD extra-low dispersion glass and fully multi-coated lenses deliver crisp, sharp images for accurate long-range identification and engagement.

Turret style varies meaningfully across this range — from capped windage on entry-level models through to fully locking elevation and windage on the Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56. "Daylight-bright" illumination is explicitly confirmed by Vortex for the Razor HD Gen III 4-24x44's EBR-7D reticle; other models offer illuminated reticles that are low-light aids rather than daylight-visible aiming points.
Reticle & Sight Picture
The EBR-7C (Enhanced Battle Reticle) is etched directly onto the first focal plane glass, providing fast ranging and windage corrections at any magnification — the reticle scale stays in proportion to the zoomed image throughout the full 5-25x range.
This is a non-illuminated reticle, so low-light aiming relies on the reticle's inherent etched-glass visibility and the large 56mm objective's light-gathering capability rather than an illuminated aiming point.
