Noctis Africa Expert Insight
BUY IF
- You want a dedicated utility pouch that hangs from the front flap of your carrier without taking up MOLLE real estate elsewhere.
- You want the option to add Level IIIA soft armour protection to your lower abdomen via the rear zip pocket.
- You're running a DCS, RPC, or PCR Chest Rig and want the traditional Cordura/MOLLE build to match.
- You want dedicated elastic loops for chem lights, markers, or decompression needles.
NOT IDEAL IF
- You want the laser-cut laminate construction instead of traditional Cordura/MOLLE webbing — see the LCS Dangler instead.
CONSIDER
-
Warrior LCS Dangler if you prefer laser-cut laminate construction over traditional Cordura/MOLLE.
-
Noctis NS-D3A Level IIIA Soft Armour Insert if you already own a dangler and want to add the armour insert separately.
Product Overview
Warrior's Drop Down Velcro Utility Pouch hangs under the front flap of most carriers, attaching quickly and securely via Velcro. It's ideal for use with Warrior's DCS, RPC, and PCR Chest Rig, and suitable for all Warrior plate carriers and chest rigs — including the Covert Plate Carrier.
Inside, 2 front zip pockets handle your everyday storage: the larger main compartment suits bigger accessories and tools — med kit, admin, maps — while the smaller pocket is built for torches, batteries, or a compass. On the underside, 2 elastic loops hold chem lights or markers.
A third zip pocket sits at the rear, sized to accept a Level IIIA soft armour insert — turning the pouch into genuine lower-abdomen protection (available as an add-on variant, or separately via the Noctis NS-D3A). The front features 2 rows of MOLLE webbing (4 loops each) with loop Velcro sewn on, plus an additional row of loop Velcro between them — room for small pouches, call signs, or insignia patches.
