Product Overview
The X300 Back Pack/Day Sack/Bergen is an outstanding medium-to-long-range patrol pack, designed with specific input from SF units requiring a strong yet lightweight, versatile pack with compartmentalised storage and exceptional comfort. It has 5 external storage pouches plus a large main compartment, with a narrow profile for efficient movement through tight urban environments, narrow streets, doorways, and houses.
Access is via a helmet-friendly top-opening lid with a Claymore-style heavy-duty zipped pouch and internal map pocket. A large reinforced centre pocket features a heavy-duty sealed-seam zip opening into a quick-access pocket, air-mesh lined for further access down to the middle and bottom of the pack. Large MOLLE pouches run down both sides.
A concealed, durable, waterproof cover is built into the base compartment and pulls over the pack when needed. The X300 also features 3 Man-Down handles (top centre, left, and right) allowing 2-man rapid extraction of a casualty — genuinely full Bergen-size capacity for gear-heavy, multi-day trips.
Construction
Made from strong, lightweight 500 Denier Cordura (Crye Precision-approved Murdock webbing on MultiCam-equivalent variants), with US Mil-Spec IR properties for reduced signature under night vision. Webbing and threads are US Mil-Spec, rated to 454kg (1000 lbs) of breaking strength. Finished with the highest quality Mil-Spec IR-rated clips, compression straps, and reinforced stitching throughout for extra strength.
